Exposition: Penelope is a wife of Odysseus, Penelope and Odysseus love each other, penelope is a faithfull wife. Penelope qouting her self saying" now that Im dead, I know everything" penelope then goes on to say that this wish did not come true, at least not totally. Death, Penelope thinks, Despite the knowledge it does bring is not worth the cost She even says that she would rather not know some of the things she has learned.
Rising action -Penelope begins to describe the afterlife, stating that everyone arrives to the underworld in a sack “full of words—words you’ve spoken, words you’ve heard, words that have been said about you.” Penelope notes that her own sack was full of words about her husband, and that some people say that her husband made a fool of her and got away with everything.
Climax -Odysseus’ account, Penelope thinks, was always so plausible, and many people believed his account of things while taking the mythology with a grain of salt. Penelope admits that even she believed him often, thinking that he would not lie to her since she was such a loyal wife.
Falling action-Bitterly, Penelope thinks that all she amounted to was a “stick used to beat other women with,” since all the storytellers considered her the model of a faithful wife. Penelope wanted to scream at other women and tell them not to be like her. Penelope admits that she always knew that Odysseus was tricky, but that she pretended not to see that side of him. Instead, she kept her doubts to herself because she wanted happy endings.
Denouement-Now, though, Penelope realizes that lots of people were mocking her in secret. They told stories about her that Penelope calls “scandalous gossip,” but that she says will only make her seem guilty if she denies them.

- In our present generation there are many couples that did'nt stand up there relationship because lossing trust and an act of impatience. In this literature it show how the wife being loyal to her husband a faithful wife even her husband is far away from her and many years that they did'nt see each other and her husband is a liar. She did not give up her love, even there are so many temptation that she encounter she ignor it. So in present generation i think there is also like penelope. They are being described as strong and hardworking also defined as a provider, but some situation in a family if a father suffer a lot of problems like, money, luck of jobs or unemployed mostly father cannot consentrate and they neglected their family. And instead of giving him comfort she always blaming him and downing him alsi children can do that, they can say that ttheir father is worthless. Yes, it happened that today in our society. I hope they can make a solution for tjis problem. Because i can see that many FIlipinos suffered this. They can not sustain thier basic needs. Many Filipinos does no have permanent house, no food to eat and no clothes. In the story Lengua Para Diablo i feel pity for him because he cannot explain why he lost his jobs. I felt anger also to the attitude of his wife shes being in considerate. She supposed to help him stand and tell how to bs better. But instead she help him better. She letting him feel useless. She drowning him. Letting their children heared their peoblem . She is being selfish ,what she thinks are the things ahe want big window, a fan ,a big house. The wife should not put all the blame to his husband . She muat help him to find solution to their problems. This situation also experience some of the family today.
